[Porygon is Cheap]

It was entertaining. i dont think some of the other reviews get that its making fun of the fact that porygon can spam the same move then use recover in pokemon. He also has self destruct.

The ball was too small to see well. Both the ball and the background used really bright colors so it was even harder to see. There was no music so all you could hear was the explosions. If you are going to play the same noise over and over again in a game make it satisfying to listen to. The powerups are only listed at the top during the first level and dont seem to exist in the rest of the game. They aren't readable anyway because the random spinning rocks block it. In a good breakout game, you should be able to start the ball up after missing it. In this you have no control and sometimes will miss it multiple times in a row because it goes back to the top of the screen moving at the same speed as it was previously. The graphics don't seem like they were drawn in flash. There's nothing wrong if you used a different program but they just look off.. almost like clipart. Also i reached a point where the ball stopped coming. I'm not sure if i ran out of lives because there is no indication that i have lives other than the three hearts. those dont seem to end the game but restart the level if you run out. I would tell you what level this happened on but there isnt anything showing what level i am on. After blowing up one of the "boss" ships the game froze with an explosion on the screen. I still have a few less serious but still annoying parts i want to mention... The plain text for the score was a bit boring and could have been done differently then just black arial font or whatever it is. Also the game isn't a pong ripoff its a breakout ripoff so it should be titled as such or given an original name.

Not very good..

I'm going to make a list:

Pros:
1.The main character is somewhat well drawn.
2. i like the song
Cons:
1. The background is boring.
2. You didn't animate a walking sequence.
3. You didn't even bother changing the direction of shading for when he turns.
4. You move extremely slowly
5. There is no challenge whatsoever.
6. The "portals" are just one color circles with a glow added to them.

I could go on but I'm lazy. Try again but take some time to look at detail and don't be afraid to make the game hard. I would rather play an overly hard game then an overly easy one. Also, try upping the frame rate so everything goes faster.

not the best way to do it

It kind of over complicated the process. You just have to paste right into flash and trace bitmap. then you get the same results after doing half the work.

What I forgot to mention was that this is more for games. I like to align the bottom of the sprite to the cross.

I got to about 20,000 points before i gave up. The bedroom with the ghost scared the crud of me. great scary game.

its not bad or good

the only problem is that you probably took these scripts directly from another tutorial somewhere. also a menu that links to each lesson would be nice so you can find what you want right away instead of scrolling through all of the tutorials

I got a A+ on hard! My score was 454065 with a max combo of 50.2 scored 100 perfects, 25greats, and 2 goods. I got only 0 bads and 0 misses! I was playing on 5 speed and had 5 crazy options on. Great game, I like it!

I love ganon's music but this basically could be made by any one who can make buttons. I could make this in like 20 minutes. (Excluding) downloading the songs.

The only reason i gave you a 1 is not because you put any effort to make this at all. but because you were able to compress that many songs into 2.2 mb without really poor sound quality. Now THAT is amazing. but the game kindda stinks since anyone could jsut look up ganon's music and get highre quality sound.
